Best Practices for Editing Agents in Bulk

Filter before you act. Use the **Filter Agents** panel to narrow the list to exactly the agents you intend to change before selecting them. Filters and your selection are independent, so you can build a selection across multiple filter passes. See Filtering Agents.
Review the Summary before committing. Each bulk-change dialog shows a **Summary** of how many selected agents currently hold each existing value. Read it to confirm scope — and the agent count — before clicking **Apply Changes**.
Paste lists to target known agents. When you already have a list of agent names, IDs, or profiles, paste a comma-separated list into the filter (or use the **Paste from clipboard** button) instead of selecting one by one.
Avoid assuming that filtering an agent out of the table removes it from your selection. Selection persists across filter changes. Agents you checked earlier stay selected even once they're filtered out of view, and they're included in the next bulk change or export. Always reconcile the **Bulk Actions** count against your intended target before applying, or click **Clear** and reselect.
